Dye Laser Page

N.B. The Dye Laser is currently inoperative due to a catastrophic failure in the Dye pump/reservoir system, necessitating a complete rebuild.

Below is what it was last set up for

The Dye Laser is currently set up for Rhodamine 6G at a peak wavelength of 567.3nm. The wavelength limits are usually approximately 557nm. to 577nm. although the power is low at the extremes. It can be configured for another Dye in about 5 days or the Nd:YAG can be used to give 1064nm., 532nm., 355nm. or 266nm. in about 4 hours -usually.
